A snowy day in April is as good an excuse as any to spend some time working on our new website. The new site comes out of a few desires and needs: we need a site that we can more easily update from the office, and WordPress facilitates that. That increases our likelihood of getting new info in when it’s still new. We also need to focus the site on its main purpose, which is to welcome people who are looking at our church from outside. That means focusing on the newcomer on every page, and trimming down some of the information that’s only of interest to “insiders.”
Many thanks to Bill Rafaill, who has been our webmaestro for many years, always as a volunteer. He’s going to help us make the transition to the new site.
